Is the Moke electric?
Yes! Moke America is fully electric. Plug it into any 110-outlet to charge it. A full charge takes 8 hours and lasts for approximately 40 miles. It’s super easy!

Is the Moke street legal?
Yes! The Electric Moke is street legal. It’s classified as a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), and has a maximum speed of 25 MPH. The Moke is street legal on all roads 35 MPH or less.
(Please check your state or municipality as some areas do have restrictions on LSVs.)
How long will it take to receive my Moke?
Each Moke is built to order. It takes approximately 180 days from the day you customize and order your car (with deposit) to delivery.

How do I charge the Moke?
Electric Mokes can be charged via any household 110 outlet. Simply plug it into any household outlet. A full charge takes 8 hours and last for approximately 40 miles.
ATTACH charging cord to Moke. Charging port is located in front of driver side front wheel, inside fender well. To connect cord, first open port door, match shape guide/prongs and insert plug. Next, plug the other side of the charging cord into a nearby 110 outlet.
Charge indicator lights will begin blinking green next to the plug-in port, and that means CHARGING is underway. Blinking lights indicate car is still charging, SOLID GREEN light = 100% charged.
If you are going to use an extension cord, please make sure it is commercial grade.
How long does it take to charge the Moke?
Our batteries charge in 8 hours and run for approximately 40 miles on a full charge. It’s as easy as plugging it into any household outlet overnight.
Can I use an extension cord to charge my Moke?
Yes, you can extend your charger’s reach by using an extension cord, BUT it must be commercial grade only. Do not use household extension cords.
How many seats does a Moke have?
The Moke has 4 seats and seats 4 people. There is a bench upgrade, which comes with 2 seatbelts.
Can I buy a gas Moke in America?
At this time, we are not selling our gas Mokes in the United States. Our gas Mokes are available for purchase in the Caribbean, South America, Europe, China, the Middle East and Africa.
You can purchase our Electric Mokes in America, however.

Do you offer financing?
Currently, Moke America does not offer financing. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of order.
Does the Moke have a stereo?
Yes! We sell an upgraded Bluetooth-enabled stereo system.
What are the battery options?
The Electric Moke uses maintenance-free gel batteries. We also suggest buying our Eagle High Performance Charger, especially if you don’t use your Moke regularly and store it for winter/summer. It’s great for keeping the batteries evenly charged.

Is there a warranty available for the Moke?
Yes! We have a six-month, bumper-to-bumper warranty available.

Can I receive a tax credit for buying the Electric Moke?
Currently, there is no federal tax credit available. We will update this, should it change.
How does the Electric Moke perform on hills?
Our Electric Moke performs best on inclines less than 20%. For inclines higher than 20%, the Electric Moke will only travel at a max speed of 15/17 MPH up the hill.
Do I need a Driver’s License and/or Insurance?
Yes! The Moke is registered just like your car. You must have a valid driver’s license to drive the Moke. You will also need to add the Moke to your insurance policy. We follow all the rules of Low Speed Vehicles (LSVs).
